I think I'm gonna be sick

Those were the words we heard from Leia this afternoon after church. She spent the afternoon in the bathroom throwing up or on the couch with a very white face. If it was me I would have been miserable but in true Leia form she was still smiling. In the pictures I asked her to give me her best feeling sick face but she could only hold that for a few seconds before it turned into her gorgeous grin!

Popsicles

Yesterday it was still rainy and a little chilly but here's a tip. If you give your kids popsicles, they will act like it is 80 degrees outside! Love it!

Daddy's home!

This is the way Gary gets greeted almost every afternoon when he gets home from work. Nothing like a good wrestle to leave the office behind and transition back to Crazy Town!

Birthday babes

While scrapbooking pictures of Nathan's first birthday I thought I'd look at the pictures of Leia and Spencer's first birthdays as well to see how they've changed and also to remember how yummy they all were at just one year old. Here they all are on that special day!

Outdoor fun

Well the rain has hit and is supposed to be around until the weekend. Thankfully we got in some backyard fun beforehand. Gary planted his vegetable garden with a very little help from Leia and none from Spencer as you can see!

Pirate Treasure hunters!

Here are some of the pictures we took when we went geocaching last week. We just stayed close to home and found a good few caches near the house with fun toys in. Leia got a little book and the boys got a few McDonalds toys. The most fun part was how Leia and Spencer were pretending they were Pirates hunting for treasure. They stalked around making pirate arrggghhh noises and Nathan followed along copying them. Good times!

Crazy Town

In my opening post I thought I could try and give a picture of what life is like here in crazy town. I am the mother of three of the most exuberant and life loving beings on the face of the earth. Leia 6, Spencer 4, and Nathan 2. Every day I spend my time trying to engage their minds and keep them from wreaking the house. Each night Leia and Spencer ask me what we are doing tomorrow. They always expect a full menu of fun. Nathan tries hard to keep up with the "big guns" and in true two year old form he drew me a beautiful picture on my family room wall today. Next time I'll get a picture!! Despite all the antics and the craziness this is what life should be like according to me. On top of the crazies in my life I have a great hubby who is home by 4 every night to calm (or sometimes whoop up!) the troops. What more could I want? Maybe a few more babies??!!!
